tents are great for kids to camp and enjoy some privacy. And they work beautifully on the inside, too, creating an isolated area with masses of style in a classic room.

Go below stairs
the generous space under the stairs has been transformed into a welcoming playground for children. Even the room in a standard, single flight staircase can function as a refuge and, once the children grow up, it can simply be used as storage.

Create a reading corner
in this magical refuge, molded plywood was used to create a curve similar to a skateboard ramp, then spread with carpets to form a comfortable seat. There is a built-in lighting in the wall and the door can be opened by simply pushing it. There are shelves on the side of the door that faces the room, so when the area is closed, it's hard to guess what hides behind.

take care with sharing
If children are sharing a room, make sure they can design me some time away from their siblings when they feel like it. It can be as simple as put curtains on the side of the bed that can be drawn for privacy.
